Patients with Canavan Disease came to Harrison from all around the world this weekend to participate in the Jacob's Cure research summit at The Renaissance Marriott. The weekend kicked off with a welcome dinner in the Hudson Room of the hotel on Friday night for all the families.

Jacob's Cure is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by Harrison's Jordana Holovach to save her son, Jacob, who was diagnosed with Canavan Disease at six months old.

Canavan Disease is a neurological disorder that deteriorates motor skills.
